2012-05-13: Our struggle is not against flesh and blood

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood:

Finally the first group of exiles head back to the promised land, but they encounter rough opposition.  Daniel is once again on his knees in prayer when another angelic messenger comes to him.  The curtain is lifted, so to speak, and a brief glimpse of the heavenly/spiritual conflict is revealed.  God is fighting for His people.  The revelation is essential for the coming vision which details massive conflict on the earth: we must know that the battles on the earth are a shadow in comparison to what takes place in the heavens.  What part in the heavenly conflict did Daniel play?  Prayer.  We too are divinely equipped and called to take part in the war.
